Privacy Policy

How DASA Technical Services, LLC handles information collected through this website.

The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and stores nothing on your device. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us.

The detail below explains what that means, what our hosting provider records automatically, and what rights you have over information you send us.

Who we are

DASA Technical Services, LLC (“DASATECH”, “we”, “us”) is a cybersecurity, compliance and assessment consulting firm based in Davie, Florida. We are the controller of personal information collected through dasatech.net. You can reach us at info@dasatech.net or (954) 661-9265.

Scope

This policy covers dasatech.net. It does not cover our client engagements, which are governed by the contract and any non-disclosure agreement in force, nor our AssessIQ and Proposal iQ platforms, which are covered by their own terms and are not accessible from this site.

Information you choose to send us

If you use the contact form, the details you enter (your name, organization, email address, telephone number, the nature of your requirement and any description you add) are submitted to our web server and forwarded to us by email through Microsoft Azure Communication Services, which delivers the message on our behalf. We do not store submissions in a database on the website; the message is delivered to our mailbox and the record of it lives there.

Alongside your message we record the date and time of submission and the IP address it came from. We use that only to identify and block automated abuse of the form.

The form also carries a hidden field and a timing check to filter automated submissions. Neither collects information about you.

We also receive personal information when you email or telephone us directly.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs, which typically record the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time, the pages requested, the referring page and the browser user-agent string. These logs exist to operate and secure the site. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so discloses your IP address to Google, who process it under their own privacy policy. If you prefer to avoid that, the fonts can be self-hosted. Tell us and we will make that change.

What we do not do

  • We set no cookies and use no local or session storage.
  • We run no analytics, advertising, remarketing or social media trackers.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • We do not use information you send us to train machine learning models.

How we use information

We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry, to scope and deliver services you request, to meet our legal and contractual obligations, and to keep records of our business dealings. Where the law requires consent for marketing, we ask first; we do not operate a marketing mailing list from this website.

For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our lawful bases are the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and securing our site, and compliance with legal obligations.

Please do not send sensitive material through this site

Do not send controlled unclassified information, federal contract information, electronic protected health information, classified material, credentials, or system vulnerability detail by contact form or ordinary email. If an engagement requires exchanging sensitive material, we will arrange an appropriate secure channel first.

Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us operate the business (our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure Communication Services for message delivery, and our email provider) under obligations of confidentiality; to professional advisers where necessary; where required by law, regulation, subpoena or lawful government request; and to a successor in the event of a merger or acquisition. We do not disclose client information to any other party except as the engagement contract permits.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and thereafter as required for legal, tax, audit and accreditation purposes. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider’s standard schedule. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time, subject to any retention we are legally required to observe.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards proportionate to the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and ordinary email in particular should not be treated as a confidential channel.

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, provide a copy, correct inaccuracies, delete it, or restrict or object to particular uses. California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. Residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email info@dasatech.net. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.

Children

This site is directed at businesses and government organizations. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate in the United States, and information you send us will be processed there. Data protection law in the United States may differ from the law where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
